We received a lovely update from Desiree P. of Kent WA this week on her Lucky Day Siblings, formally known as Yen and Yuan, now affectionately called Byte and Mi-Rai. We are amazed at their beautiful marble development and tickled as bonded siblings they remain the best of friends.

Stratokatzter Bengals is excited to announce TICA official point counts and titles earned for our Stratokatzter I Drink Alone "Solo." Solo has earned just over 3100 points since January 2025 which qualifies him for his TICA Triple Grand Champion title. We look forward to finishing up Solo's quest for Supreme Grand Champion in the upcoming months.
It's always a good idea to prepare yourself as an exhibitor for an upcoming show. In previous posts, we have touched on the purpose and function of cat clubs, preparing your cat for a show, and packing for a show and preparing your benching area. In this article, I plan to provide you what a typical show day looks like from the lens of a seasoned exhibitor.
Your show set up is a representation of your personality, your breed, your cattery and your love of your cat. A dynamite show set up is a blank canvas for you to design a habitat for you and your cat to bench at during a show. A place where spectators feel welcomed to learn about your cattery, about your breed and you can showcase your cat.
I remember going to my first cat show five years ago. I was showing our kitten "Stone" who was my first show kitten. I was shocked when he received two finals out of 83 kittens being shown that weekend. He would have received three but a judge pulled me aside and told me his coat felt "greasy." Most likely from a product I was using on my hands.
