The Story of Us

Our Bengal story began in 2006 when two star-crossed lovers, Randy and Esther Wenman purchased a pair of pet Bengals from a couple of Northwest Bengal Breeders as a compromise that offered Esther the spirited playfulness of an Abyssinian and Randy, an exotic Asian cat look he was so very fond of.

As their love for each other and the breed grew, so did their household; adding several pet Bengal kittens over the years.

In 2018, Esther began to show Bengals in local TICA shows as a hobby. Later, their F4 alter, RW QGCA CRB Stone Free, earned the distinction of TICA NW Best Bengal Alter or the Year. Sadly, Stone fell short in temperament thus retiring from showing and remaining in their family home as a beloved pet. With growing perseverance fueling a desire to create the perfect Bengal, Esther set out to embark on her breeding journey which unleashed her creativity to breed the perfect Bengal: One with exquisite wild type, perfect type and unchallenging, exceptional temperament.

Stratokatzter Bengals is born from a spirit of devotion, loving service and creativity. Randy, a retired recording artist and touring musician, is a passionate cat dad with a spectacular eye towards balance and beauty in the breed; while Esther, a 30 year RN, places high value on Bengal health and temperament, as she understands her pet owners enjoy lifelong satisfying relationships with their breeder and Bengals.
